ABOUT TUTTA MUSICA ORCHESTRA
Tutta Musica Orchestra is New Brunswick’s newest professional orchestra and consists of sixty musicians who are the Teaching Artists and staff of Sistema NB.
Tutta Musica offers something that has not existed in New Brunswick until now as our musicians have a mission of transformative social change through the daily instruction of classical music to over 1,200 youth across the province.
From solo acts to full orchestra, we collaborate with artists across many genres to make live orchestral music more accessible, more engaging, and more relevant to more communities throughout New Brunswick
Our Connection with Sistema NB
In New Brunswick, the intertwining of performance and education is a key strategy for artists to sustain their careers. This is exemplified by Sistema NB, which stands as the largest employer of musicians in Atlantic Canada with 58 Teaching Artists on its team.
These artists both perform in theprofessional Tutta Musica Orchestra and teach at various levels: they instruct in local children’s orchestras under Sistema NB, participate in regional youth orchestras in Moncton, Saint John, and Miramichi, and are involved with the provincial youth orchestra, NBYO.
